10. Our Roof Terrace Pick for Christmas
Mercer Roof Terrace is open on Christmas Day for lunch and dinner and is o昀昀ering a threecourse menu. Located at Vintry & Mercer hotel, highlights from the menu include starters
of roasted celeriac soup with winter tru昀툀e, Seven & Wye smoked salmon with beetroot, and
a Yorkshire ham terrine with mulled 昀椀g chutney, smoked almonds and pickled shallot. For
the main a昀昀air, guests can opt for a traditional festive Roast Norfolk buttered turkey breast
with pork stu昀케ng and all of the essential trimmings or indulge in Roasted Peterhead cod
with dressed crab & shell昀椀sh velouté and bubble & squeak. To 昀椀nish, diners can select from
Christmas cake and custard, a chocolate and pecan gateaux or stilton, followed by mince pies
and cream. Mercer Roof Terrace is the quintessential terrace with heated igloos and cabins,
o昀昀ering a unique private dining experience high in the sky and complete with faux fur blankets, 昀氀ickering candles and the twinkle of fairy lights. The Christmas day menu is priced at
£85 per person.
