Who completes the
progress inspections
and controls the
renovation money?
The HUD Consultant will make a thorough onsite inspection to
ensure all work - for which payment has been requested - has
been completed properly.
A portion of the funds (contingency reserve) will be retained
by the Lender until the project is finished to ensure the
Contractor completes the entire project.
The HUD Consultant will perform a final inspection once the
project is completed before any reserve funds are released.
