"We are really behind here in Baltimore with
composting and recycling but we have the
opportunity to catch up. We have community
driven alternatives to the incinerator that
could take our city forward with good green
jobs instead of dumping more lead and mercury on
us and burning precious resources. I am glad that
we are at this point because we are really standing
up as a community calling on officials to join with
us to protect our health and environment so
we can move forward."
