Guildford Museum
An indoor attraction displaying collections of archeology,
local history and textiles. The lives of famous residents
such as Lewis Carroll (author of Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland) and the world-renowned horticulturist
Gertrude Jekyll are showcased in the museum.
Guildford Castle
Built around 1300, the castle was mainly used as a royal
residence, but it also played a part in the civil war at the
same time.
Head to the roof of the building for a fantastic 360°view of
Guildford and its neighboring towns.
Shopping in Guildford
