5.3 BRINGING TEMPORARY WORKS INTO USE
5.3.1
Bringing a structure into use in the ‘implementation phase’ involves a few key steps
as follows:

competent person
Note: a permit to proceed may be required during
construction as defined in the inspection and test plan
(ITP)
An authorised TWS/ an authorised SC TWC or the PC’s TWC
The review of risk assessments and method statements should be undertaken well in
advance of the ‘implementation phase’ and may be initiated in the ‘planning phase’
or as concurrent activity in the ‘design phase’.
