3.3 ORGANISATION CAPABILITY
3.3.4
The PC is responsible for the safe design, management and execution of all construction
works and all temporary works.
3.3.5
The PC’s DI has the responsibility to ensure all sub-contractors who are appointed to
design, manage and build (and in some cases also supply) are capable and competent.
3.3.6
For the safe management of construction activities regulation 4, 5 and 8 of Construction
(Design and Management) Regulations require organisational capability to be
verified, competent people to be appointed with clear responsibilities and lines
of communication.
