We do this by offering Boardof Immigration Appeals-accredited services suchas completing and filing immigration forms,interpretation, consultation services, immigrationcase follow-up and notary public. NationsMinistry’s citizenship journey program helpsrefugees acquire green cards and eventually U.S.citizenship by providing application preparation,civics classes, interview coaching and moreto help refugees remain legal immigrants andbecome U.S. citizens.Advocating for Immigrant RightsA major component of our work in supportingnew neighbors is making sure they knowtheir rights.So many parents live in fear of deportation—terrified that a trip to the grocery store couldmean permanent separation from their families.With the help of experts and attorneys, ConexiónAméricas helps families understand theirrights and create an emergency plan in case ofdetention or deportation, complete with notarizedpowers of attorney for care of their children ifthey are separated.U nited Way of Greater Nas h ville5
