THE ASBC FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS (cont.)
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE: Dr. Felicia A. McClary was appointed to the ASBC Foundation Board in
2022 to assist with matters of the Foundation Scholarship Committee. She has been a member of the
Scholarship Auxiliary since 2012. Prior to her service on the Scholarship Auxiliary, she was a member of
the ASBC Tutorial Ministry from 2009-2013. Dr. McClary is a leader in the science and technology industry
having led the design of PC technology in the semiconductor industry, and most recently as a Principal
Leader of teams developing security and privacy controls for an industry leading voice assistant technology. She currently serves on both the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) National Chapter Advisory
Committee and the AWIS Educational Awards Committee, a continuation of her dedication to STEM scholarship. Dr. McClary holds degrees in Materials Chemistry from Eastern Washington University (B.S.) and
Howard University (Ph.D.). She has been a member of ASBC since 2008.
FUND-RAISING COMMITTEE: Calvin C. Minor, is an alumna of Virginia Union University and Richmond Polytechnic Institute, Richmond, VA. He began his career as a Math Teacher in the Richmond Public Schools
and the Fairfax County Schools. He is a retired Sales Executive with the Xerox Corporation and Ricoh Corporation and Federal Services Sales Executive. He has worked in a variety of disciplines to include consultant,
Cyber Security and Vulnerable Assessment, and Human Resources. Calvin is a US Army Veteran who served
In the Corp of Engineers, Military District of Washington. He has served in several offices on the ASBC Board
to include Secretary, President and Vice President-Fundraising for the Foundation. He has been a member of
ASBC since 2012.
CORRESPONDENCE COMMITTEE: Shelvee H. Osborne works with the Foundation secretary with communications. She has been a member of the Foundation Board since 2014, when she was first appointed as a
Church Trustee designee; she is now a pastoral appointee. She also works with the Scholarship Committee
Auxiliary. Shelvee is an usher, served two terms on the Church Council Board of Directors and served 6
years on the HBCU Festival Planning Committee. Shelvee is a graduate of Norfolk State University (B.S.
Business Administration, Management Emphasis) and George Washington University (Master Certificate in
Project Management). Shelvee is a past national president and current national Treasurer of the Norfolk
State University Alumni Associa}on and serves on the Board of Directors of the GRNOVA Spartans Founda}on, Inc. Professionally, she is a retired IT Software Development Project Manager with the IRS. She has
been a member of ASBC since 2004.
FUND RAISING COMMITTEE: Syrinda E. Paige has been a member of the Foundation since 2019 and
facilitates our 8planned giving9 efforts as part of the Foundation9s fund-raising efforts. Professionally, she
was recently promoted to Senior Vice President for one of the nation9s premier financial planning and
wealth management firms, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. She has been in banking and financial
services for over 22 years. Syrinda was a co-producer of the recent Broadway revival of August Wilson's
The Piano Lesson, starring Samuel L Jackson. Syrinda graduated from the University of Virginia. She has
been a member of ASBC since 1996.
Many
